Woodstock Oxford Reckless Rowers Bring Home Gold

 We had a wonderful day August 6th at the Dragon Boat Races at Pittock Conservation Area.  The Woodstock Rotary Club are the organizers of this fantastic event which hosted 49 teams!

Of those 49 teams there were 6 Community Challenge teams, WORR (our team) being one of them.  After 3 exciting races of an average race time of 2:22 for the 500m, our team brought home GOLD!  We are the Community Challenge Champions, and we won GOLD in the Silver Division!

We are so proud of our team! A special thank you goes out to our French Steersman whose many years of experience got us out of a cramped, dangerous but exciting situation!
