IFOA Ontario will visit Woodstock to present an evening of author readings, followed by a lively question and answer segment and discussion.
Don't miss this literary evening in the spacious sanctuary of Knox Presbyterian Church. The event will be followed by a reception in the Library, featuring local foods and wine, where you will have the opportunity to experience our vibrant local culture and meet and talk with the authors.

About the Visiting Authors
Lois Leveen (United States) is a novelist, poet, educator and historian. Her work has appeared in numerous literary and scholarly journals such as the New York Times, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, Bitch magazine, The Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic and on NPR. Leveen gives talks about writing and history at universities, museums and libraries around the United States. Leveen presents Juliet's Nurse, a reimagining of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet from the perspective of the nurse.
Helen Humphreys (Canada) is the award-winning, bestselling author of four books of poetry, six novels and two works of creative non-fiction. She is the recipient of a City of Toronto Book Award, the Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize, the Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry and is a finalist for the 2014 Trillium Book Award. She was awarded the Harbourfront Festival Prize for literary excellence in 2009. Humphreys presents her haunting memoir, Nocturne, an intimate self-examination and exploration of her grief after the sudden death of her younger brother, Martin.
Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer (Canada) is the author of the novels Perfecting and The Nettle Spinner, as well as the story collection Way Up, which won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award. She is also an award-winning instructor with the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. Her short fiction has been published in Granta, The Walrus, NumeroCinq, Joyland and Storyville. Kuitenbrouwer presents All the Broken Things, a spellbinding novel of exceptional heart and imagination about the ties that bind us to each other.
